Samsung Galaxy A54 Overview

The Samsung Galaxy A54 is a new mid-range smartphone launched in March 2023. It features a sleek design with a glass front and back and a plastic frame. The phone is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance.

At the front, the A54 sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gameplay. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A54 is powered by an Exynos 1380 chipset based on a 5nm process. This octa-core chip features four high-performance Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. For graphics, it has a Mali-G68 MP5 GPU.

The phone comes in four RAM/storage variants – 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB, and 8GB/256GB. Storage is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 custom skin on top.

For optics, the Galaxy A54 features a triple rear camera setup. It comprises a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide shooter, and a 5MP macro camera.
